Woolgar Geomatics College was founded in 2009 as Eclipse College by Ross Woolgar, ALS, and Bruce Gudim, ALS as a collaborative way to assist articled pupils of the Alberta Land Surveyors' Association with their professional exams. Woolgar Geomatics College was founded in 2009 as Eclipse College by Ross Woolgar, ALS, and Bruce Gudim, ALS as a collaborative way to assist articled pupils of the Alberta Land Surveyors' Association with their professional exams. Throughout our 14-year history, we have gone from in-class seminars facilitated by professional surveyors to a fully online platform with presentation recordings available to review after the fact. These days, our presentations are not limited to legal surveying but encompass a large variety of Geomatics-related topics.

“Woolgar Geomatics College is an educational platform designed for Professional Surveyors, Engineers, Land Surveyors in Training and other stakeholders in the Geomatics field. We discuss a wide variety of topics, with each weekly online session presented by industry experts, allowing diverse perspectives and informed discussion on the subject matter.”

Woolgar Geomatics College is an informal presentation and discussion initiative amongst interested stakeholders in the Geomatics industry. We offer peer-to-peer seminars online to inspire discussion, sharing of knowledge, and collaboration. All views in each presentation are those of the presenter alone.
